Things are changing at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and Nursing is at the heart of the matter. With the addition of our new Chief Nurse, Melanie Salsgiver, it's an exciting time to join us.

We are opening new care areas - like our Level II NICU - and changing how we say thank you to our Nurses at the bedside - through our new, increased pay rates for both LPNs and RNs. Our PRN Pool is changing to provide a professional home to Nurses in different seasons of life, and a reward system is in place to maximize the number of Nurses who expand their scope of specialty practice and increase their clinical skill base.

Nursing means more than a title and, for that reason, many of our new programs are open to Clinical and Unit Staff, from Therapists to Technicians to Unit Clerks. We recognize each day how important you are to how we deliver care to Patients and their families.
